Custos Frater Code of Conduct
CF Charter Addendum1
Custos Frater is not an alliance of Anarchy. We are an alliance of order and desire to promote
a friendly and welcoming environment for guilds to come together and play together.
1. Alliance Chat:
1. As an Alliance, Alliance Chat is our most valuable resource for achieving
our goals and working together as a team. Therefore we must only use /as in a reasonable and non-offensive manner to support
the alliance and the needs of the alliance. As such:
2. No vulgar language. Vulgar language and slander of any player
shall not be tolerated. If an alliance member conducts him/her self in such a manner. The Guild Master must give this member
a stern warning. If such conduct occurs again then that member must be demoted to a rank that does not have /as send/talking
rights.
3. Alliance Chat should remain positive. Realm mates and fellow DAoC
players of whatever realm should not be spoken of in bad and negative terms.
4. Alliance Chat should be reserved for RvR
5. Spam: Alliance Chat shall not be spammed. Spam is defined
as repetitive statements being made. Spam may also be defined for the use of this document as using the alliance chat as a
general chat. Alliance chat should be used for communicating tactical between guilds and information and to initialize groups.
6. PvE: No requests for power leveling shall be
tolerated in the /as. It should be the policy and goal of each guild to assist their new members achieve a higher level. Alliance members of lower levels should participate together in helping each with these goals.
2. Sexual Harassment, Racial Prejudice and General Harassment:
Shall not be tolerated in any form.
3. Respect: Respect
of fellow players is what makes the game fun for all. It is what differentiates the good from the bad. In every relationship
respect is the key issue. Therefore, respect of all players regardless of guild, alliance or realm is paramount.
4. Raids: Persons participating in alliance/guild
raids or raids outside the alliance should always obey and respect the designated leader. Remember you are a representative
of this alliance and more so of your guild.
5. Loot: Alliance Groups. It shall be
the policy of every Custos Frater guild that all Valuable loot shall not go to only one person. It is unfair to all that play
for hours upon hours that one person should receive all or most of the valued items. If a person receives
a drop it is theirs unless it has been established before hand that all valuable drops are handed over to a treasure holder;
normally the group leader, but may be any designated player or players. At the end of the group/event/raid valuable items
shall be rolled on or any other fair manner in distributing loot evenly. This must be agreed to by all. If a person drops
out of the group before the end of the group he/she will have the option of rolling on the drops of their interest that can
benefit them. Or, they may also forfeit loot. The one exception to this rule and this must be established before hand or be
open knowledge. If a person has established the group with the intent for a scroll(s) or artifact if the
item is found and received that item will be surrendered to the person that the group was designed to assist. This
does not mean that the person the group is helping can lay claim to ALL valuable drops. Only the drops that they are specifically
farming for and that is common knowledge amongst the group. Once a person has won an item in a roll at the end of the group.
That person should be allowed to roll again until everyone else has received at least 1 item of value.
6. Alliance Boards: Postings shall not contain
flames and the rules of the Alliance Chat pertains as do all rules of this charter. Persons not in compliance shall have their
forum accounts suspended.
7. Teamwork: If you think of your guild
as your online family of friends that you enjoy then you should think of the alliance as an extension of that. We are
here to make each other better and to build bonds. Alliances are good for our guilds and our realm it allows us
to work together to achieve goals.
